The George Inn is a beautiful 15th century thatched pub set in the heart of picturesque Chardstock, right on the Devon, Dorset and Somerset borders, serving traditional English Foods, real ales and a selection of fine wines.
 
We have four lovely cottage style bedrooms situated in a barn
conversion in the courtyard behind the pub.  Their location
means that they are nice and quiet to allow for a peaceful night's
sleep.  They are all en suite with bath and shower and we have 2
double rooms and 2 triple/twin rooms (double bed and single
 bed).  Following a restful nights's sleep a delicious Full English   
 
 Breakfast is served in the bar in the morning.

The Golden Fleece is a family run Inn, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. FORDWATER

Fordwater is a sixteenth century thatched farmhouse located on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, within easy travelling distance of Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton and Beer on the coast and Axminster and Chard further inland.

We offer bed and breakfast accommodation within five well-appointed rooms. Single, double, twin and large family rooms are available with ample car parking. We do not operate any curfew times. Our self-catering accommodation, The Stable, is fully equipped to a high standard and is suitable for a couple or family.

The restaurant at Fordwater offers quality meals to guests and non-residents alike and parties of up to forty can be catered for. Booking is recommended. All dishes are home produced in our kitchen and emphasis is placed on good food at affordable prices. With this in mind we remain unlicensed and encourage guests to bring their own drinks to enjoy with their meal.
